Heritage Pediatrics is committed to partnering with parents to provide the best in pediatric healthcare. Our practice is built upon a legacy of caring, compassionate professionals that was founded in 1956 with two pediatricians at The Children’s Clinic on East Hildebrand Street. Serving the children of San Antonio, Dr. Mel Thornton and Dr. Neil Nau worked alongside Dr. Ned Synder, a pediatric dentist. Over the next two decades, The Children’s Clinic expanded to a total of four pediatricians, welcoming Dr. Tom Fitch (’68) and Dr. John Beauchamp (’69). In 1988, The Children’s Clinic found a new home at 7959 Broadway Street. Today we are still going strong with over 60 years of service to the children and families of San Antonio. We are proud to celebrate our legacy in pediatric care and are grateful that you have chosen the physicians at Heritage Pediatrics as your child’s healthcare provider.
