Dr. Linda Cook was born and raised in Houston. In her childhood, she was cared for by a female pediatrician, which was uncommon at that time, and was inspired by the compassion and care she received.
Dr. Jonathan Crews grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area (back in the heyday of the Dallas Cowboys!). Pediatric medicine captured his interest early as he saw both his uncle and grandfather care for their pediatric patients in Odessa, Texas.
A San Antonio native, Dr. Fitch grew up knowing that he always wanted to be a pediatrician. The joy of working with kids as a camp counselor combined with being the son of respected Pediatrician, Dr. J. Thomas Fitch, Sr. sealed his calling.
Dr. Gibson, a native Texan raised in Georgetown, has always been drawn to working with children. As a high school student, he began volunteering at kids’ camps and leading school clubs.
Dr. Tardy was born in Michigan, but lived in Edmond, Oklahoma for most of his childhood. He has said he’d always had a clear calling to become a pediatrician.
